The Docks @ Waterside is a newly renovated vacation rental on the shores of the Portage Lakes’ East Reservoir near Akron, OH that manages to maintain its early 20th century charm with many of the home’s original features, offering room for two families to spread out and enjoy everything the lakes has to offer.
The heart of the property is the outdoor living space. The 8 person hot tub sits within a gazebo and provides stunning views of the lake. There’s ample space to lounge by the lake where you can cool off in the clear water. Bring or rent a boat or jet ski and take advantage of the two docks. The gas grill is ready for you to cook up a delicious meal. After the sun goes down, sit around the gas fire table and watch the stars.

Inside, the sun room overlooks the lake and features a custom built table with seating for 10. The pub room offers a coffee bar and beverage fridge to quench your thirst and is connected to the well equipped kitchen. You’ll find two king bedrooms upstairs, one featuring a seating area and the other with a work space in case you need to check your email between swims. There’s also a cozy queen bedroom to go along with the full bathroom. The basement bedroom includes a queen bed along with two twins.
The Docks is located within 10 minutes of many local restaurants and grocery stores, and is just minutes away from the Firestone Country Club, Firestone Metro Park, and Portage Lakes State Park.
